A site visit from the Co-op Coordinator will be arranged between week 6 and 10 of the work term. All in-town visits are done in person, out-of-town discussions/evaluations are done by phone or Skype.
Prior to the mid term site visit, an Employer Mid Term Evaluation of Co-op Student Web Form needs to be completed. An email with the content will be automatically generated and forwarded to the Co-op office. A couple of copies of this email should be printed and on-hand for the site visit.
The site visit will consist of:
- A 30 minute meeting with the Co-op Cordinator, Mentor and / or Supervisor, and the student. During this group meeting the student will review tasks assigned and completed to date. The Mentor and / or Supervisor will review the Mid Term Evaluation and report on students performance.
- Another 20-25 minute meeting will follow with the Co-op Coordinator and the student.
Prior to the end date of the work term, an Employer Final Evaluation of Co-op Student Web Form must be completed and reviewed with the student. You will be made aware of the due date for this evaluation by the student you have working for you and it will be noted on the evaluation webform.
